Safeguarding
Gurushala aims to create learning spaces where people are treated with dignity, consent and respect. Safeguarding is part of program design, not an afterthought.
Current scope
The first Digital Saheli pilot described on this website is designed for adult women. Activities involving children should not begin until appropriate safeguarding, consent, supervision and reporting procedures have been formally approved for that activity.
Core expectations
- No harassment, exploitation, humiliation or discrimination.
- Respect for privacy, consent and personal boundaries.
- Extra care when photographs, stories or personal information are collected.
- Concerns should be taken seriously and escalated appropriately.
This public statement is not a substitute for a full operational safeguarding policy. The detailed policy is part of Gurushala's launch documentation work.
